Meble Bieniek is a family carpentry business from Warsaw whose story began in 1937 and has been handed down from generation to generation. We design and make custom kitchens, sliding and built-in wardrobes, walk-in wardrobes and fitted furniture in our own workshop in Warsaw – without middlemen or subcontractors.
We also build bedroom furniture, TV walls and bookcases and bathroom furniture. Every project is prepared individually, and the same team measures, designs, makes and installs it – so we know exactly what we are responsible for at every stage.

How we work
How does working with our workshop look?
Nine steps from your first call to the finished furniture. At every stage you know what is happening, what it costs and when payment is due.

01Get in touch
Call or write to us. We will walk you through the whole process, discuss the details and requirements, and answer any questions or doubts you have.

02Prepare a rough sketch
If you have a visualisation, email it to us for an initial quote. If not, simply draw what you have in mind by hand, add approximate dimensions and describe your requirements.

03Initial quote
Once we have your email, we prepare an estimate as quickly as we can. We aim to keep it as close as possible to the final cost – the difference is usually around ±15%.

04Measuring visit
We arrange a convenient date and come to your home to take the exact measurements needed for a precise, well-fitting design.

05Technical drawings and final price
For every piece of furniture you receive a dimensioned technical drawing and a visualisation by email. This is the stage for any changes. Then we give you the final price.

06Approval and contract
We sign the contract and confirm the final costs. On signing we take a 50% deposit, agree all the details and set the installation date. Signing the contract means the designs are approved, so changes are no longer possible after that.

07Production in our workshop
Our joiners take great care to make sure the furniture for your home is of the highest quality and will serve you for many years.

08Installation at your home
We aim to complete the work at your home as quickly as possible. When the furniture is delivered, you pay our team 30% of the order value.

09Final settlement
The remaining 20% is paid only after installation is finished and you have checked and accepted the work. In furniture stores you usually pay 100% on the day you order.
Clear payment terms: a 50% deposit when the contract is signed, 30% on delivery and the remaining 20% only after installation and your final check. The initial quote usually differs from the final price by no more than about 15%. All work is carried out under a written contract – see the sample contract below.

Kitchens
Custom kitchens are one of our main services in Warsaw. We design modern, classic and minimalist kitchens using proven materials and hardware systems from established manufacturers. A well-planned made-to-measure kitchen makes the most of the space and becomes a comfortable place to cook every day.
We make both compact kitchens for flats and large kitchens for family houses, and we suggest solutions that improve how the kitchen works and how long it lasts.

We make made-to-measure wardrobes that fit perfectly into recesses, under sloping ceilings and into awkward spaces: sliding-door wardrobes, built-in alcove wardrobes and walk-in wardrobes that make the most of every flat.
A good wardrobe is about more than looks – it has to be convenient every day. We use modern sliding systems, solid furniture boards and durable fittings, so our wardrobes last for years.

We design bathroom furniture for one specific bathroom: the width of the vanity unit, the height of the mirror, the space for the washing machine. Ready-made sets rarely fit where there are sloping ceilings, pipes or an unusual floor plan.
Carcasses and fronts are chosen for constant humidity: moisture-resistant boards and fittings, and closing systems that do not warp over the years.

About us
A family of joiners since 1937
In the spring of 1937 Zygmunt Bieniek began doing carpentry and woodworking jobs for the people of Rozalin near Jadów, east of Warsaw. He made many of his tools himself.
Since then the craft has been passed down from generation to generation. Today we combine that experience with modern materials, design and production methods in our workshop in Warsaw.
Machines and materials have changed, but one thing has not: furniture should be well designed, solidly made and last for years.

How to choose a carpenter for custom furniture
Before you sign a contract with any workshop, check these few things – they can save you disappointment after months of waiting for furniture.

Who actually makes the furniture
Ask whether the carpenter makes the furniture or passes the work to a subcontractor. We have our own workshop in Warsaw – the same team measures, designs, makes and installs, so it is clear who is responsible for the quality.

Real projects, not renderings
Anyone can put visualisations online. Ask for photos of finished, installed furniture in other clients’ homes – you will find ours in the portfolio, along with our Google reviews.

Measuring on site, not by eye
Sloping ceilings, uneven walls and pipes matter to the millimetre. A good carpenter always measures in person before the final quote – with us it is step four, before any contract is signed.

A written contract with a payment schedule
The scope of work, materials, dates and payment terms should be written down before you pay a deposit. You can look at our sample contract before we even meet.

Warranty and contact after installation
Check whether the company deals with faults after handover and for how long. It helps to know you can still call them years later – as with us, a workshop that has been in the family since 1937.

A realistic deadline, not the lowest price
Custom furniture takes time to design, make and install. A quote well below the market often means cheaper materials or a deadline that slips.

Sample contract
Every order is carried out under a written contract. It sets out the scope of work, the agreed materials, dates, the payment schedule and the warranty terms. You can read the template before we meet.
We sign the contract after you have approved the designs and the final price – it is the sixth step of working with us. Please note that the contract template is in Polish.

Before you call
How much does custom furniture cost?
The price depends on the dimensions, materials, hardware and appliances. That is why we start with a free initial quote based on photos, a sketch or a design. We give the final price after the measuring visit and once you have approved the design.
Do I need a finished design?
No. A hand-drawn sketch with approximate dimensions and a description of what you need is enough. If you have a visualisation from an interior designer, send it and we will base the quote on it.
Do you measure and install the furniture?
Yes. We do the measuring, design, production and installation ourselves. We arrange a convenient date and try to keep the time we spend in your home to a minimum.
Where do you work?
Mainly in Warsaw and the surrounding area. You will find the addresses of our showroom, offices and workshop in the footer and on the contact page.
How does payment work?
A 50% deposit when the contract is signed, 30% when the furniture is delivered and 20% after installation is complete and you have accepted the work.
