Which kitchen fronts should you choose?
One of the first visual features we pay attention to in the kitchen are its aesthetic values, the main of which are the cabinet fronts. Their appearance and long-term durability are key. The main feature of interest is the quality of workmanship, materials and finish. The most common fronts are made of laminate or covered with acrylic or varnish.
Please remember that it all depends on you how you want your kitchen finished, we will try our best to help you so that the look and style suits you as best as possible. If you want to learn about the advantages and disadvantages of various materials for creating kitchen fronts, please read the article below.
What material to choose?
Wooden Fronts
Wooden fronts are a solid and durable option. They are characterized by high resistance to all kinds of events, upholstery and, above all, to the passage of time - in short, they are durable. Wooden fronts are a very popular choice due to the number of advantages they have.
MDF board fronts
MDF board is a slightly weaker solution than a wooden front, which is why its popularity has increased significantly in recent years. MDF board is made of hardened wood fibers. The many solutions offered by this material and its excellent quality make it a very good offer.
Finish, color and texture?
The most important thing is your vision of the finish. A wide range of colors allows you to choose your own style and a large range of gloss, matt or semi-matte varnishing, while maintaining the texture and grain of the wood, of course, at your discretion.
What fronts can I choose from?
Lacquered Front
Lacquered fronts, now extremely fashionable, look fantastic in any kitchen. The larger the layer of varnish, the more resistant the furniture is to mechanical damage. These fronts are finished in matt or gloss.
Laminate Fronts
(foiled) These are furniture finished with PVC foil. Thanks to the material it is made of, various colors in many shades are available. Contrary to appearances, the foil is glued in such a way as to prevent it from peeling off the panels. Laminate fronts are also resistant to UV rays, which means they retain their full color for a long time.
Acrylic Fronts
Acrylic fronts look similar to lacquered fronts with a price difference. Acrylic fronts are more ecological than varnished ones and are available in a wide range of colors. Acrylic looks phenomenal in matt or colored mirror effect. It is very easy to clean and disinfect.
Veneered fronts
Veneered fronts are a thin layer of natural wood applied to another material from which the front of the furniture is made. It looks very natural while retaining the real appearance of wood. It can be made in matte or gloss.
